What happens when you book
When you phone or email, you will be offered an assessment appointment to come and meet face-to-face. This can be face to face or online. In all, the assessment for an individual takes an hour and a half.
If paying by bank transfer you will be given bank details so you can make payment to secure your appointment is the diary. If paying by cash you can pay at your assessment session (this is explained below).
During this assessment appointment you can chat about what’s going on for you, then if you feel you wish to continue on with the assessment, we will continue. its important you feel comfortable with me, so you feel comfortable to talk.
Once the assessment is complete and you wish to continue with booking sessions (no obligation) we will complete the paperwork. This is an agreement outlining everything involved, so you know where you stand with our arrangements and there is a GDPR policy regarding sharing of information and how I store your data.
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes for adults, and can be shorter and adjusted for young people (depending how they manage during sessions).
Individuals
Assessment – £75.00

Couples
Sessions for couples can take longer, so I allow 2 hours for these sessions.
Assessment £110.00

Families
sessions for families may take longer, so I allow 2 hours for these sessions.
Assessment – £125
up to 3 people – £125 per session
up to 4 people – £150 per session
Groups
per session – £25.00 per person
It is possible to ave a variation of mixed sessions. For instance you can start with counselling and add in Rewind sessions as needed, at the rates below.

(prices may increase from January 2026 and will supersede these prices).
According to IARTT Rewind has a 90% success rate. I have had a 98% success since using Rewind since 2019.
How payments work
You can either pay by cash at you assessment, or you can pay by BACS when you book. Please ask Jane for the bank details if you wish to pay by BACS. Payments by BACS are required in advance to secure your appointment in the diary.
Paying by cash – What you need to bring to the assessment:
If paying by cash please bring the Counselling Assessment Fee (£70 for an individual) to your assessment session & bring enough cash with you (an additional £70) so you can book and pay for your next session.
I take payment in advance incase you dont turn up or cancel inside of the cancellation period of 48 hours of your booked time.
Ongoing sessions
Cash payments are then due each week thereafter, so your always paying in advance when you book your sessions.
Example of payments –
*Paying by cash – An individual would pay £70 assessment fee, plus £70 advance counselling fee to book next session, a total of £140 first visit, then £70 per session per week thereafter.
*A family of 3 would pay £125 assessment fee, plus £125 advanced payment, so a total of £250 first visit, then £125 per week.
Paying by BACS
If paying by BACS, sessions for individuals is £75 per session & must be paid for within 24 hours of booking to secure the session in the diary.
Please note there is a 48 hour cancellation policy in place
You can cancel or re-arrange your session providing its more than 48 hours before your appointment.
Any cancellation made within 48 hours of your booked appointment your session will be lost and payment you made retained. This is because I cannot re-sell your appointment at such short notice.
(If its an emergency then I will use my discretion regarding this in these circumstances).
